Had a very weird dream today.
Was getting ready to go to a current-day Grantfest and meet up with Jess after all these years. Was ready to go when William decided he needed to go to the Mentor Mall in Ohio for something. One of his typical had to do it now type of things. And he was dragging ass. He was so slow and making me late and I was so pissed at him. So Carol from my current work calls on the carphone (yeah, I'm that old) and says she has Jess who wanted to talk to me. This is back before cell phones of course, so it was always bumming a landline when you needed to call someone. I was just boiling mad at William for making me late to my important date, but of course I couldn't tell him I was meeting up with Jess so I just had to sit there and bite my tongue.
1. I'm not in Ohio and there hasn't been a Grantfest in 25 years.
2. Carphone? What year *is* this?
3. Carol doesn't know me that well, likely has never been to Ohio and has no knowledge of Jess.
4. I don't know if I'm subconsciously mad at William or what, but it was a weird dream. My flashes of anger with him last half a second before I can bite them back and they disappear.
A psychologist would have a field day with me.
