My Brother's Married

Back from the wedding.  It was very nice.  Simple, quick, and just nice.  Noreen's dress was lovely, white corset-type with black ivy stitching.  All the bridesmaids wore black.  They like black.  I was worried it was going to be too funereal, but it was elegant and classy.  The Pink Chuck Taylor shows were a bit much.  Everyone will remember the shoes.  Haven't been to a wedding since I was about eight years old.  I did not remember much of it.  There wasn't a lot to it.  The pictures and reception proceeding left me a little confused, but there was a general lack of information throughout the whole proceeding. 

Wedding itself was at a Willoughby church, with the reception in the basement.  Good idea to have no alcohol.  Things wrapped up in a prompt time and no one was obnoxious or beligerant.  Next, we all moved to Colby Park for photos.  Three wedding parties in the park, all jostling for space.  Us, one black group, and one Italian Mafia group.  Have pictures from my father and William.  The photographer photos will take a few weeks. 

After going to Colby Park, we went back to the church to clean up a little.  Some freak was having a psychotic episode outside the church.  I think I went to school with him, but I can't really say.  So the cops came and there was one arrest after all.  Least it wasn't a wedding attendee.  Guess that made the ceremony official; too bad there weren't any punches.  Would have been a real wedding then.
