Job Applications
Jun. 2nd, 2005 02:49 pmThe following post will be numbered, just like the mailing lists were back in the olden days (mid 90's)
1) Seems like this is not the time to be applying for work in Oswego County. The unemployment office has a few jobs open. They all require either a degree I do not possess or experience I do not have. The brickmason's job needs you to lift 100lbs repeatedly, which I cannot do.
I did manage to apply at Tops and the Hospital. Hopefully the Hospital will call me back shortly. I would like to be a pharmacy tech, it was the first job I ever applied for back in Ohio. Tops would do, but I cannot run a register. Not to mention I forgot to put on the application that I worked at WalMart years and years ago. I'm sure that's a lesser sin than most people commit.
2) I have started writing again. I've got two finished stories, both HP/SS. I didn't bring them with me to upload them unfortunately. One of them I am unsure of and could use some feedback. Have no idea of where it came from, but it involves a one year old child and an adult male in a "lewd and lascivious" situation. How does one go about handling this? Should I delete the whole story and forget it ever happened? Should I post it as the interesting bit of FICTION that it is? I have no desire to spend time in jail for something that I would never commit in real life.
3) Talked to several friends today and they would like to take me out to lunch. Too bad they all have to work and I get to sunbathe.
4) Chili is progressing well. Need to add some onions to it when I return home. If it blisters the nose at 3 metres, then you know in another two days when it's ready it's going to be awsome.
5) Look, ma! I made it to five!
