Last Post for a while Possibly.
Aug. 20th, 2005 02:46 pmI did it.
I quit this stinkin' job.
Perhaps they might feel the need to pay me the back paychecks. More than likely I'm just out. My rotten luck. What can you do when an employer refuses to pay you? Not much, besides cut your losses and run.
And the Library feels that LJ is not an 'educational resource' and block the entire site.
I might not have the chance to update for a while.
I have two job prospects brewing - both in my field and have a high likelyhood of me actually acquiring one of the jobs. Will be good. Both medical, both clerical, and hopefully both full time. It would be nice to be able to live and eat again. Feel bad for my Grandma, I wrote her a letter when I was having some pretty bad hunger pains and I was not my normal cheery self. Oh well. Grandma will have to get over it.
Been a lot of talk among myself and spouse lately. Buying his brother's white Ford truck (1997 I think), ditching the 1978 White F-250, and trading in the Green 1992 Dakota for a smaller car for me. Wheee! A gomobile for Susie. I hope I get a Honda Civic or a Neon. I liked driving Kristy's Neon. I drove a Dodge Colt a few times and that was pretty cool too. I just want it to be good on gas and look like a 'Susie Mobile'. Dave has the "BreadBox", James has the "PopeMobile", and I need a "SusieLambretta". Alright, so a Lambretta is not the best for traveling on US highways everyday. It'd still be a sweet ride.
Signing off for now, wish me luck!
