Can I have some more, please?
Dec. 7th, 2005 12:22 pmWilliam had his girlfriend over last night. She's really cool and I like her, and they haven't been together in at least ten years. They were up partying and paying music until about 2 or 3 (that's when I fell asleep). So now he's hung over and tired and I had to call his manager and call him in 'sick' or something else to work. Manager didn't like that and wanted him to come in anyway. Too bad! The wonders of no home phone...
Took a long time to drive up to work today. Snow wasn't bad, probably only 8" overnight, but the roads were horrendous. All ice and slush. It was like the snowplows hadn't even been out yet. Went 20mph all the way up 481 to Syracuse. Lots of cars off the road. Lots of schools closed. Got to work only about 1/2 hour late. And now there's no friggin' work to do. I dusted and moved some files and now I'm rambling in my LJ. If I didn't feel bad about it, I would read some. Can't have that on the screen now, can we? *UNF* *UNF* *UNF*
Still want to finish up reading Nocturne. Appears tonight will not be the night either with the Hubby home. Damn, maybe when I get home I can shovel him out and kick his ass down the hill to work. I'm not kidding, it's about a mile away. He could walk if he wanted to, he just doesn't want to.
