Sick, or out of it, or zoned, or something the like

Fell asleep last night at 8:30 pm. Wasn't sick, per se, but didn't feel great either. Was laying on the bed, reading my hard copy of the Tea Series (the balcony scene, love it!), kitted out in my warm snuggles, drinking my hot chocolate/vodka nightcap, and proceeded to pass out/fall asleep in the middle of the page. Managed not to spill the hot chocolate and set it on the floor next to the bed. Folded up the text (it's in a manilla file folder), dropped my specs on the clock, and down I went. Didn't sleep well either. Still tired. Like I can't get going. Fuzzy. It's noon and I'm just starting to come out of it. William was reading all day on the computer and I didn't feel like doing anything. I should have cleaned the kitchen and folded laundry - now I get to do that tonight instead.

Also got an email today from Geico. My car insurance has been cancelled due to non payment. Wonderful. Where the hell am I supposed to come up with that money? Wouldn't have been so bad if they'd bothered to tell me I owed them more money.

Oven is still not working. That's been pushed back to 3rd priority.

Growth on dog's anus is frightingly large and needs to be removed at the vet's. New priority #2. Non cancerous, thank god, but unsightly and probably very uncomfortable at this point. Poor Baby, can't even take care of him properly. I feel so terrible. I'm a bad mommy. Can't imagine the removal and sutures will feel very good either.
