Chicken Jalfrezi
Jun. 3rd, 2006 10:27 pmMade chicken jalfrezi today for the first time. Yes, yes, venturing into the wide world of ethnic cuisine. Suprisingly, I could actually eat it. It wasn't too spicy. A lot of the Italian stuff here in town is simply too hot. Not that I'll be eating jalepenos whole like William any day soon, but I could handle the chili powder, tumeric, and cumin well this time.
Does that mean I didn't put enough in?
Got the idea from a mention in the O forum about prawn jalfrezi. William is allergic to seafood/shellfish, so I changed it to chicken. Worked quite well. Had it with some flat bread from Wegmans.
Other news: Missed the Nuremburg show today - was out doing errands and such. Being that Germany is 7 hours ahead of my time, I just couldn't put a hold on my day. Apparently not many other people saw it either. I'm sure someone will turn up sooner or later with a good report.
Bought a kitchen full of groceries. Have food. Am happy.
More clothes. One office top (dark red sleeveless), one pair of denim jeans (dk blue, placket front, lace up bum [needs to be taken in slighlty, it's listed as size 10, fits more like a 12-13]), and a black knit dress with a pink cording around it.
Oh yeah, just realized something... My name *is* Sue. ODL, how I can hear him say things in my head now.
