Work and Death

Rush is in LA mixing down and mastering their tracks. All I've heard is that they're 'good', whatever that's supposed to mean. Wonder if Geddy's run in to Johnny Rocker out there. Don't even have a clue which studio they're using. So out of the loop. He did say their touring will kick off on 12th or 14th of April. Good to see them back on the road and Neil Peart carrying on finally.
Denny Doherty died over the weekend. He had one of those under appreciated voices and kind of fell into the background a lot, but he did have some good stories and a lot of regrets about his life. He never really got over Cass' death. Everyone's got to go eventually, guess it was just his time.
What did I do this weekend? Jack shite. Was so lethargic I could hardly drag myself out of bed. Started to write more on the book yesterday night, when hubby started yelling that I was being 'obsessive' again. Well, sooooory is I happen to find writing enjoyable rather than dealing with your whiny arse. Don't know what happened either, he had been good in the afternoon, even agreeing to go to the salon and have his hair cut sometime in the future. Then he just got all cranky as the night wore on, making me even less likely to spend time with him.
Didn't sleep last night. Maybe dozed off a few times, but just layed in bed. I should have just gotten up and done something productive instead of trying to force myself to sleep. Am tired now. Groggy. And cold, that doesn't help. They must have shut the heat off here at work over the weekend.
Spent some time with the kids on Sunday. They were actually quite well behaved. Must be getting sick,Tanya was coughing all the time. I just hope I didn't catch it. Was iffy before I went over there, catching a bug is not what I need right now.
