Weather

There should be more news, but unfortunately when the weather is this bad it takes over everything else.  They've closed all the roads and cancelled all non-emergency travel.  Busses have stopped running.  Got over a foot of snow last night, supposed to get another foot today and another foot tonight.  36" in as many hours.  Lovely.  And the wind chill is in the -20's, I can feel it coming through the walls.  Had some snow thunder earlier.  Was kinda trippy, but the power's stayed on despite the wind.  All schools have closed.  Will my beer run later in the day constitute emergency travel?  I hope so.  I'll get killed if William runs out of beer.

Have already done the ironing.  Think I will work on Laurie's shirt some more.  Been trying to get it embroidered since Xmas, today might be a good day to put on a DVD and sew.  Yeah, that sounds pretty good.  It'll be nice and quiet until William wakes up and I can listen to some music or go back to cooking and cleaning.
