98 This Afternoon
Sep. 7th, 2007 09:21 pmGot out of work and it was 98F according to Sandy's car.
What did Suzi do? She went home, turned on the oven and made chicken cordon bleu. I must be stupid. Scratch that, I know I am - I remember.
Managed to wash the turkey poop off the car, do the grocery shopping, and hit WalMart after supper. Long day, but work wasn't hard 'cos DrD was only there a few hours in the morning. Steve's so much calmer and easier to work with. Steve actually makes jokes and tells you when you've done a good job. Dave doesn't, it's all complaints and yelling. Like two totally seperate offices. Wish Dave would just retire so my blood pressure would go back down.
Busy day tomorrow. Supposed to pop in on Steve when he's at the Lion's Club thing and bring him a coffee and a bit of sanity. Then Tanya is coming to visit around noonish. Then dad's taking me and William and Reet out to Vona's for supper to celebrate him quitting smoking. At least it won't be so hot out tomorrow.
Gonna go do some more crewel for a bit in the air conditioning. Watch a movie or something.
