First of all, how cool is this?

The weekend's hit list, seeing as how I now suffer from CRS and will have to remind myself what to do next.

Fri Night: Headcase in Phoenix. Dress like a hooker and drink a lot of beer. Take some photos, lose my hearing, and come home at 3am. Buy beer on way home to continuing partying after the pubs close.

Saturday:
am - recovery. Possibly a trip to the Best Kept to take back a non-fitting shirt purchased last week.
Afternoon - Wine tasting at Andrews. Still waiting for Lu to confirm.
Evening - Hayride at Oulette's with the kiddies. Apple cider, picking apples, chasing turkeys.

Sunday: Noonish - benefit for Mike at the ... ? Elks maybe? Somewhere. Chicken barbecue and some music, meeting more long haired rockers and paying tribute to cancer. Lots of fun.

Doesn't sound like much, but not much time to rest up either.

New Fic

Ten pages in on a new fic. A different twist on the manipulative end of things, but still a good story to write. Something different, and a good break from Noreen. Might turn out to be kinda mid-length, as this Justin likes to yammer on a lot.

And so far it's actually postable stuff. (shock! gasp!) Might be worth going back to RLB and putting it up, give the girls something to read. I don't think there's been a new fic there in ages.

Not going to see Headcase, as William doesn't think his back will last the drive and the gig. Danny was supposed to come visit, but it's almost 9pm and he's not shown up yet. Doesn't mean anything in the musician's circle, but as a 'normal' human it's kind of late for visiting hours. Bastard'll probably show up the moment I admit defeat and crawl in bed.

Until then... writing! Yay!

Your home is a

Magnate's Hideout

Your kitchen is someplace you never go, because you "have people for that." There's a Chocolatessen, which is rapidly becoming your favorite room of the house. Having one is also becoming a trend among your wealthy neighbors. Your master bedroom is the size of a small barn, with carpet thick enough to reach your ankles. Your study has hardback editions of every classic ever written, plus a special edition of Rich Dad, Poor Dad with the parts you ghost-authored highlighted. One of your garages holds your collection of ferraris, and is measured in acreage.

Your home also includes a guest wing and private quarters for your servants. Your guests enjoy your animatronic replica of the cantina at Mos Eisley. Outside is your hedge maze and gardens, meticulously tended by a team of world-class botanists.

And, you have a pet -- a doberman pincer named "Warren".

Below is a snippet of the blueprints:
