Gig photos
Dec. 23rd, 2007 06:33 pmSome photos from Saturday. Was really too close to take any quality photos, was looking up Phil's nostrils all night. Yes, they're nice and clean. Wasn't too terribly impressed with the way they turned out - the red gel was out in force again that night. Oh well. It's good for the show, just not for photos.

Couldn't get any shots of Paul at all. Movement was way too limited for my liking, but the sound was great. I swear these guys can outplay Van Halen or AC/DC or anyone else at their best. It's nice having them with just a small following. More for me. Teehee!

Rain Storm
Dec. 23rd, 2007 10:53 pmAs I am now on break for the holiday, I decided to go out to the shop to get some food. I'll be home for a few days, makes sense to eat. It does to me anyway.
So, didn't worry too much about bundling up, it was about 50F here today. Stole Liam, hopped in the car, and off I went. It was starting to drizzle very slightly when I left but I thought it wasn't a big deal. It's the end of December and it doesn't rain for very long this far north.
Let me tell you, by the time I got out of Price Chopper everyone was soaked through to the underwear. Wind blowing like a hurricane, fat cold rain drops so thick one couldn't see where they were going. It's December. Where's the blizzards and snow? At least you don't get wet in snow. Just brush it off and you're all done. The damp wet lingers even after the car heats up.
Have some food, and a few pictures 'cos it keeps Liam happy to play with the junk camera.

Unfortunately, he likes taking photos of the flourescent lights and coffee displays. Trying to tell him to take photos of people doesn't do any good either, he just gets frustrated. He's either going to be a total sped or a good graphic arts photographer.
