I think this had to have been the worst gig I've ever been too. Not only did the sound suck and the gig started late, but with all the time to kill Pete and Phil decided to get plastered. Pete stumbled up the stairs to the stage and I knew it was going to be horrible. Phil didn't remember half the words and was doing some sort of bouncing thing which just didn't work. Seemed like he was about to fall over a number of times. Pete's typical bit of a lie down ended up being a real lie down as he stopped playing and just was there on the floor.
