Busy busy busy.
Have finally written back to Lou. That was the most pressing (ie -oldest) thing in my inbox. That's a relief off my mind. As long as she knows now that I'm not dead things will be cool.
To everyone else waiting - I AM NOT DEAD! Just really busy. Or lazy, take your pick. Haven't been much on the computer and shouldn't be right now, but old habits die hard.
Got some new shows in, pretty damn cool actually.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y4KLKC0YSecond boot is actually Blue Cheer. I still have their 45 in my collection, and it was so unlike anything else at the time. Pre-Sabbath, pre-Zeppelin, pre-Deep Purple, pre-Steppenwolf – as well as one of rock's original power trios, post-Cream and Hendrix Experience.
BLUE CHEER Live in Japan
Tokyo and Osaka, Japan - February 11 and 13, 1999 (SBD)

Paul Whalley and Dickie Peterson are still at it to this day, touring hard and playing little clubs. Leigh Stephens is long since gone, but Duck MacDonald has been with them since about 1970 off and on now and is in a way more integral than Leigh ever was.
This show is solid soundboard quality – it was officially released for a brief time, in fact – but the needle is jammed deep into the red zone the whole way, which suits Blue Cheer just fine. This one you may actually want to turn down a bit…legend has it they were the first American band to use Marshall amps, and they weren't called the Loudest Band on Earth for nothin'. Dig it, scooter tramps!

William has gone to bed already for the night, I think I want to go back and work some more on my Rick Fic. I am stuck at this point where he's in the shower nude with a little bit of shampoo running down his back and over his little bum. And I wonder why my writing derails at that mental image.
Getting an ice storm at the moment outside. I can see the back door is a solid sheet of ice. Will be fun in the morning, chipping away at the car and falling on me arse again. Can I has Hawaii now? I know it's a few years late, but I think I change my mind.
And if I hear one more thing about Talas today I'm going to scream! Why today suddenly? Haven't heard from Billy since buying that console off of him.
