An actual Holiday Inn again tonight. I feel so privileged. Another beige and glass monstrosity ruining the American landscape. At least they have a decent business center and free 'net. Lobby consists of one sofa (gray) and two matching (gray) chairs. Go SC, great on design I see. Lots of creature comforts.
Was trouble last night, a bunch of the guys went out to see the ballet and there was a bit of shoving in the car park of the establishment. This morning the buses had been vandalised - bad enough so we all cabbed it to the venue. Broken windows on three, missing mirrors, and it looks like someone tried to start a fire under one. Police have been doing their thing, but I want my home back.
Wonder if they'll ever come through this town again after the damage to the buses. And people wonder why bands don't come back to their town.
It's April 1st, almost a must for pranking tonight despite last night, but as I've not heard word it's probably my turn as FNG. Waiting for the ice guys, I know it's coming. Don't expect me to actually be in me bed.
Aside, for my own future reference (should I need it) the new revisions of the UK BS 7909.
