Worked back at the doctor's office today. Have to say I thoroughly hate the man's guts. It pays the bills however, and must be dealt with. Can't just quit my day job to run off and do whatever I like. Glad he's as flexible as he is, letting me come and go willy nilly. But, as I say about William, if he wants me to work for him, he has to play by my rules. Don't think I could ever go back to working there fifty hours a week like I used to. I think the per diem thing is working out well, gives the other optician the hours she needs (and she wants a steadier job anyway) and still lets me pop my head in during a lull in activities. The phone drove me nuts. People are so needy! I'll call you when your glasses come in, what's so hard to understand about that? Grrr. Was nice to see Sandy and Steph again, even if two of the other girls are bitching at each other. Just happy to do my job and clear up a pile of stuff that had been left for me. Fixing the internet connection wasn't on my list of things, but apparently I'm the only one who can do it. Oh well. All fixed now and only half a day tomorrow with the good doctor. Shouldn't be too taxing.
Sending the 1010 out for service tomorrow. They'd better fix it good. Without a sound card right now and really need to get it back and installed before I get off tour again. Have a few people backed up for when I'm home again in the late spring.
Anyone speak to that new girl at RD, Farzi? She sounds really pretty.
Have to go pick William Tell up at the bar. Falling into the same routine so quickly. :(
