Whoo boy, got to talking to someone I met on the West Coast at the hotel bar. I must have really been out of it, 'cos what he was saying happened isn't what I remember happening at all. I do remember the rednecks with the moonshine and Rick hanging out with them, but I don't remember Vivian being an ass to anyone. He has his moments, but the pure venom Night was spouting off was so out of line. Just because you didn't get your shirt signed doesn't mean you can rip into someone, alright? We all have nights where we're tired or ill or on the hunt for a hamster. I need to stop talking to fans, really. This just isn't working for me anymore. Soon enough some of them are gonna end up at my door thinking I have some musician locked in my bedroom.

Which I DO NOT.

Did, however, spend a good bit trying to talk with Andre. Turns out Andy opened his mouth and slipped that "Peter" was the stand in bass player. Oh well, so much for state secrets. Not too many bass players named Peter in the Hannover area and some people are guessing right. It's a weird little circle, he used to be in the UJR/MS management scheme after quitting active playing. Don't think he'll be making the summer tour tho, still thinking we'll get Jeff again if he's free. He worked out really well.

Got to chatting about the old London Astoria somehow. It's closed now and in the process of being torn down like the old Wap or Rebels or Limit. Jesus, did I just date myself? All good, all gone, anyroad.... And there's a piece of chewing gum on the window sill of the dressing room which Andre noticed there in 2001 - every time we go we check to see if it was still there - and it's never been cleaned away. A bit better than the sticky floors and plastic cups at the Wap. Still doesn't come anywhere close to CBGB's that place was in a pit of it's own filth.

If that's not odd enough, someone named Wayne G. mailed me, said he used to play at Dial House with Jeff (Stewards son) & SC. Wonder if the guys would want to know about that? Chris probably would at least.

Oh boy, this is turning out to be rather a load isn't it?

How about a MSG show? )

Two things to never turn down in life: a solid meal and a hot shower. I'm clean again, yay!

Sad to hear Thunder is breaking up. The guys all had nice things to say about them when they were sharing bills with Whitesnake. Life goes on.

I stole some green bean casserole and I think I'm gonna go and try to heat that up somehow. There has to be a microwave around here someplace. I'm not past using a hair dryer.
