Mimosa in Paradise

I have upgraded, ditching the donuts & dew breakfast typical among our lot and stayed at the hotel for brekky with the muso's. Mimosa, fresh fruit, stuff I couldn't even name. Was good. Better than fried lard and carbonated HFCS. Could very easily get used to this kind of treatment. Had to sit with Bryan and Dave 'cos they had the bigger table. Always fun.



Love how long BH's hair is getting. It's so pretty and shiny.

They're in the studio for the next three weeks or so, working with TS & that group. Sounds really interesting what they've got so far, doubling up on all the instruments. Really a group effort. Not as cumbersome as I feared. Again, doubtful it will burn up Soundscan, but they're both touring crews at this point. The tentative itinerary has them up around my local a lot in April/May, should be seeing more of them.

Roger's been arrested in NC on his outstanding warrants and is being extradited to NY. You think people would learn, but no. His own damn fault.

July 2nd!!

So proud of myself, I helped book a gig for the guys at my local. Called up the Lovemuffin and with management's help managed to get things sorted out. July 2nd, here I come! Tickets go on sale 28 March and as soon as they get the promotional poster done I'll put it up. That makes twice in six months they've been at the casino. Yet another side of the business I've never done before. Don't think I'll be doing it again either. The nightmare that is paperwork and the back and forth is staggering. It's a wonder anything gets booked. Insurances, all the different riders, legal papers, hall rentals, travel arrangements... I just want to put the amps on the stage and watch the guys play. Really makes one appreciate the business end of MTD - it's too much to all keep in one's head.
