Joann Nightmare
Oct. 12th, 2017 05:20 amWent to a Joann Fabric yesterday. Needed 4 yards of basic flannel plaid fabric, nothing fancy. Could not believe the prices they were charging. $10 a yard? If it was wool, yeah, but it was only cotton/poly blend. I've not been to a Joanns in probably eight years, and holy hell, I won't be back. I dislike Hobby Lobby for their beliefs and WalMart for just being a shitty corporation, but I can't justify $10/yd. I can buy the garment premade at LL Bean for the same price. Sadly the other fabric place on Mason Rd. closed down, and aside from a small quilting shop (which won't have what I need) those are my options. Uugh. I try but sometimes I can't win.
Sleep schedule is whacked again. Been sleeping 2-3 hours every five or 6 hours and it's been horrible. Can't get much done. Not sure how I'm going to handle work tonight. That's assuming I can get in some good sleep at some point today before I have to go it. Woke up at 2am but it doesn't feel like morning. It doesn't feel like 2am either, it's like noon.
Gonna try to write some more. Have a great image of my head of SW sitting astride MA's lap and going to town. Just have to get them to actually take their clothes off. Damn prudes.
Made gnocchi at 3am yesterday, thinking of cooking that up with a bechamel sauce and some chicken breasts. Spinach. Gotta get a loaf of italian bread. Dinner at 7am? Sure.
