In the Neverending Fic of Doom I've gotten it set up where Main Male character's mother confronts him about having something in his past that he's not told his love interest. I'm stuck. Do I:
A) have a one off or a short fling back in the day with love interest's father
or
B) was caught masturbating as a youth by overly!religious father and beaten badly, causing years of sexual confusion and issues?
Both work in the setting of the story, and as I slash writer I'm leaning towards option A, but option B explains a lot of the odd behaviours of Male Lead.
I'm not sure I want to venture in to GayLand in what is a Het Fic, even though I love my slash.
I'm not sure I want to deal with child abuse and the repercussions of. Its not my thing.
Sometimes I hate being a writer.
