Monday was bad. Swore I had the virus. I was freezing and my bones hurt and I was so tired and I couldn't sleep. Headache from hell. Drugged myself up and still couldn't sleep. Finally went to bed about 1pm after trying to sleep since 8am. Was awake every half hour just tossing and turning. Finally got out of bed at midnight and felt like shite. Did not sleep well. Started feeling better as the night wore on and at about 6am I finally felt back to normal. Was that it? Was it just something else I'd picked up? Or was it just my body being ramped up from stress at work? Who knows. My life so far hasn't really been affected. I work and sleep and it's just normal for the most part. I never did go out much. The biggest problem has been the grocery being out of things, but that's minor. Work is just... bad. And we've not even been hit badly yet.

Occupation Med is supposed to call when we're exposed to a positive COVID patient and it turns out they have not been calling. The doctor went into a chart to check on a patient he swabbed and admitted last week only to find out that way he was positive. No calls from the County/State/CDC or Occ Med. Not even a call from the attending physician or OA. Nope! We would have never known unless the ER MD kinda stretched HIPPA a bit to do some follow up.

Could be worse. One of the other docs pulled down the Quarantine sign off a room and got a bunch of people exposed. A nurse, RT, CT, PCA tech, registrar... Dumb mistake. Just being human but that's how people die.

Ended up making bagels in the morning when I felt better. They're alright. Kind of like half pretzels, half bagels. Not what I wanted but the carbs are soothing. The garlic ones are really good, the cinnamon not so much.

Threw some potatoes in the slow cooker to bake off for dinner - assuming I'll still be awake by then.

Should make the Rice Krispie bars I've been meaning to make all week. Now's a good time. It's actually a bit chilly out and looks like rain. Took Muttley on a short walk and he wasn't feeling it. Went to the end of the block and turned around. I'm not going to force him to walk if he doesn't feel up to it.
