Mad right now, so skip if you want.

I'm at risk for COVID. I'm sick. So I went to Joann Fabrics website (big US seller of fabrics and crafty-stuff). Ordered me up a few yards of fabric and things to make some washable masks. Great, right? Swallowed my pride and paid for shipping and just did it.

Joann emails me back after taking money out of my account. All the fabric for the masks is out of stock and cancelled. They're sending me elastic and binding tape and interfacing. Useless by itself to make a mask. And certainly nothing I would pay $10 shipping for. Can I reach anyone to cancel the order? Nope! EMail sent to customer service, of course, but likely it will do little. And I won't be home to refuse the order from shipping.

Why would they list stock online and let me order it and then not have it? It's cool if you don't have it, but tell me. I wouldn't have ordered if I couldn't get everything to make the masks.

UUugh. I hate people. Why have a system that's dysfunctional?
