Day went pretty well for a scary start.
William woke up with pretty significant back pain that wrapped around to his front, so of course I start thinking differentials. Kidney stone, pancreatitis, gall stones. Nope, he just slept wrong. Went away after some time. I got about 4 hours sleep, was up for an hour to watch him and then got four more. Then I slept wrong. The new mattress is not made for sleeping on your stomach and my back locked up. Got stuck on the bed for a few minutes until I could manage to roll over. That wasn't fun. At least when I got up and stretched out it didn't hurt.
Dentist agreed to remake William's plate. There is still hope for his dentures. Going to take time, but it's in process again.
Spent more money at the Malt of Walls. He decided he needed incense and wax melts and essential oils, so now the house smells like a perfumery.
Had Denny's for lunch. It's an American Institution of Las Resort. No one goes to Denny's voluntarily, it's just because one is out of options. We were starving and needed to sit and eat out of the heat. A lot of places still are not dine in, so Denny's it was. It's never bad but also never good, straddling the line between 'I'm never going there again' and 'It's not that bad really'. Can't complain. Lots of food. Consistently well prepared. Nothing special but again, not bad.
Finally got around to getting some groceries in. At least there will be some food in the house. Veg and Fruit is still low, but got pasta and sauce and tinned veg. It'll do for now.
Back at work. Oh well. Gotta pay the bills somehow.
