New feets!
Dec. 1st, 2021 11:33 pmEnded up getting some new inserts for my trainers. The shoes have been pretty horrible since I got them but figured I just needed to break them in. They fit alright but were just never comfortable. Broke down and got some inserts for the footbed and holy heck! What a complete difference. I took out the factory footbed only to find it was maybe 1 cm thick and almost non-existent. It was a nice pink colour but that was it. Feel like new shoes or like the shoes that they should have been in the first place. No more Fila brand for me after this pair. My feet are still messed up but getting better now.
Have not done much on my 'weekend'. Mostly just cleaning and cooking and being unwell most of yesterday. And part of this morning. It finally broke around 2pm but I still felt not great even thought I could power through and went out to get some groceries. Went out with William around 1800 and really started to feel back to normal. Of course it's night now and any chances of doing real work are gone. Hard to work on the garden when it's pitch black outside. Maybe tomorrow, but I also have to get back on night shift, which means forcing myself to stay up late tonight and trying to sleep tomorrow afternoon. I'm tired again and could sleep right now but then I'd be up all day tomorrow and falling asleep at work after midnight. No bueno.
