Got called in to work tonight from midnight to 6am. It sucks. One girl tripped over some equipment and shattered her ankle (needs surgery), one girl just got told she has cancer and needs surgery to remove it, and another one just popped positive for Covid. So I'm covering for the Covid girl. Got Tues and Weds off supposedly, but working a full shift on Thursday. Paycheck should be good, but I'm dying. I work with Covid girl, so I'll probably turn positive in a few days as well. We are both vaxxed and boosted, but his new varient doesn't care. It likely won't be bad, just like a cold, but still. Do not want.
I put the plexiglass screen back up around my desk. My boss doesn't allow it but with 22 positive patients this morning in one shift alone, it's going back up.
