Bought HP4 last night. Managed to watch the first ten minutes before I had to go back to the dishes and showering for the next day. At some point, I would like to watch the entire movie.
Did however manage to watch the Tullavision DVD I just got. Tampa 31 July 1976. Soundboard. A++ quality, and only 2 small audio droupouts. Beta quality video, digitally remasters. F'in 'ey!. Need to buy a DVD burner. Mark is going to be recieving a copy, and also my father. Those of you who collect boorts/roio's and are into Tull, this is a new release well worth looking into. Find it in your usual trading/fannish circles.
Tortalini for supper today. Like little tiny peirogi's. Almost like home! Should have fried them instead of boiling like the package said. Man, I miss Parma. It's about all I miss, though. I would love to have a West Side Market here - I was really spoiled. Easy to reach venues and the West Side Market all in one trip.
Was killing time at work today and popped into Reunion.com (they had sent me a junk email and I was bored). A few people from the old High School had actually signed up/in/whatever. A lot of people I didn't recognize. A few I did. Tried to update my profile. I han't even been on the site since Youngstown ages ago. It wouldn't let me put in the non-US postal code. So I still show up as American. Oh well. That'll land me on someone's jihad list.
Not as bad as admitting I come from the Dakota's however. Man I hate those red states. So hypocritical. Hellllooo... that's the purpose of the Constitution, not to legislate people overly much. Hence the "land of freedom" bollocks idealists are always talking about. America is just as opressing as practical commumism is/was, just not as overtly. I you poor dears thought your vote actually counts for something. Ha! Like the Bilderburgs actually let you have a say in your life. You're just given that illusion to make you more comfortable in your day to day reality. Whoa, very Matrix-y...
I sleep better at night being closer to Rosslyn.
