Compiling a Live Album

Been working on it for a few days now. Taking some live tracks from the 'net and wherever I could find. Mostly just to teach me Acid and refresh the mastering skills, but also to have fun.

So I've got 11 tracks at this point, and I should have it mastered tonight and authored. Have to re-listen to make sure I still like what I did yesterday.

Hopefully, after authoring it, I can rip it to mp3 and post it to usenet. It would be cool.

Man, I suck as an engineer/producer. Why did I ever think I had any talent? The more time I spend at it the more I realize that I could be so much better. No wonder why I stuck with the wonderful secretarial field instead of doing something truly useful and creative with my life.

Mastered and Burned

But it seems to be really jumpy on the CD-rom in the computer. Not a great suprise, it's never read correctly. Just hope it's not the burning mechanism dying. Gonna try out the disk on other systems. Bringing it to work tomorrow to test.
