New Lawnmower
Jul. 1st, 2006 03:13 pmFather in law is a big stupid. While I was at work on Friday, he went out and bought me a new lawnmower to replace the one that died on Wednesday. He cut 90% of the yard and weedwacked too. Says I owe him a new pair of sneakers 'cause his new white ones are now green from the clippings. Think I can manage that.
My father and grandmother are supposed to be arriving today for a visit. James says they left about 9am, which puts them here any moment now. Planning on dinner out to Canale's or something. Cleaned like crazy this morning, just trying to get things to the 'acceptable' level instead of the squalor I normally live in. It meets standard now, but not much better. Oh well. They've known me since birth, not like I can really embarrass them at this point by being a slob.
I hurt William's back earlier. He was laying on the bed knocked out from his muscle pills and his shirt had ridden up a little. It had been soo long I couldn't resist. He says it didn't hurt too much, but now he's all silent and strange. :-\ Time to brush my teeth.
