It's amazing how people come out of the woodwork once you try to stop being on line so much.

Chuck sent me a few pics from his stop in BudaPest.

I wish he'd sent some piccies from the hotel, apparently they stayed at a really posh place. Looks like a good time anyway. He got to spend some time on the Dona and it sounded really relaxing. They've nothing like that here on our river, people just don't anchor their boats and soak up the sun. Here it's all motion. Going through the locks or going out to the lake.

And I've gotten a copy of a TD vid from 2003. Cool stuff.

The guys were good, can't deny them that.

Did everything yesterday that I had planned for today. Have to go to the shops after William gets home, low on soda and dog food. Must start on the dough for supper. Other than that, I think I'll play my guitar a bit. Look for a deal on more trs cables.

Spent a good portion of the day with Reet.

Went fishing a bit. Caught some, threw them all back. One was around 3lbs. River was good, just slightly choppy but clear as all hell. Fishies were happy, biting like crazy. Suprised not more people were fishing.

Then went to KMart in Fulton. That store is usually a disaster just 'cos of the nature of Fulton, but today even I was shocked. I think there were three employees in the whole store. Things were just trashed, merchandise on the floor in the aisles, displays overturned, complete chaos. I bought my entertainment rack and got the hell out. That's one example of how *not* to run a retail establishment. Horrid.

Stopped at Mimi's for an ice cream. Yum. Was delicious, but it was ice-milk type stuff, not actual ice cream. Didn't matter, was good. All I really needed was the water, but with Reet you don't get a choice.

Then got dropped at home and went out East. OMFG, if you're near and can get to Bed Bath Beyond by all means go. I got a brand new Matelasse Coverlet for about $10. One that fits the queen bed in the master bedroom. White in a cabbage rose pattern, not some horrid colour or pattern either. Says right on the package normal price $119.00. There was a set of 300 thread count sheets I wanted to get as well, but I don't have the extra $40 on hand. :( And a wine rabbit for $10. But I have enough sheets and a fully functional corkscrew, so those weren't imperative buys. The old comforter I got for my 15th birthday from Moo and am still using? History! Good riddance, it looks like a teenager's room. Will come in great for guests, but it's not very 'adult'.

Pizza for dinner, Ron was over - suprise to me. Good thing neither of us were very hungry. There's pizza left over. I are alone, and William and Ron had dinner together. Got all depressed and started in on the wine. Hence the chattiness tonight. Boys are boys and there's not much to be done about it. I did get to watch Dogma again (it's been years) as I whipped up a batch of blueberry muffins. They're in the over now. Must take them out shortly.

Any typos here I blame on the cabernet. It's not particularly good, rather heavy on the fruit and low on any sort of balance or artistry, but it does a thorough job of getting one utterly pished.

I need to put the coverlet on the bed, think I might sleep in the main bed tonight for something exciting. Or not exciting, seeing as how William is in the habit of staying up until 4 or 5 in the morning.

Shuld have worked on Noreen this weekend, but I can't be arsed anymore. I don't feel like writing porn right now and that's where I left off at.

A bath is sounding great, shave my legs and get the sweat and fish guts off. Then change the sheets and put on the new coverlet. Can you tell I'm a bit happy with my find? It'll wear off in time, as soon as William says it's a dumb pattern or too girly. Given his tastes I thought it would be right up his alley, but I'm always wrong.
