Surgery Date
Jan. 15th, 2014 08:57 pmFinally got everything on the shopping lists. That should be done for another week or so.
Went out to supper with the in-laws. William didn't feel well, so it was just the three of us. Wasn't awkward at all like it 'should be' accoring to media. They really like me and I like them and it is family, even if they didn't birth me. Dad's spoiled now. He used to only get prime rib at restaurants - he could chew it with his bad teeth and knew what it was. We got him hooked on NY Strip and Ribeye much to our dismay. Sadly back in the wilds of NY they average 12-13/lb as opposed to 3-4 down here. He ordered a TBone at the American Diner that possibly starts with a D. Meat had been frozen previously, and while the flavor was good it really wasn't tender at all. He is incapible of eating bad steak now and just waants his personal chef to make it. Great, one more thing to add to my list of responsibilities.
Kathy has her surgery date finally. Feb 3rd. Hopefully they can get te whole tumor out this time. Science has come a long way in 40 years.
Have put off writing the epic Damn Yankees fic for now. Want to see what comes out for Ficmas requests. If someone asks for DY I'm in business, but for now I want to write someone's request and gift them.
