Time, and a lack thereof
Jan. 16th, 2014 02:38 amRequests are up and luckily I can take a stalled fic I've had for over a year and re-make it with a bit of a rewrite. Gives it someplace to go as well. Not 100% on prompt, but meh. I can set an established relationship in the time period requested, even if the bulk of the story takes place the year after.
Refreshed myself on what their music sounds like. Listened to the 'single' (what a misnomer) a few times but never gave the album more than a run through. Think it got to #47 in the charts, which is no small miracle on its own. It's still a weird album. It would have to be.
Finally made white bread for ma & dad. Yet one more thing they will want every other day.
Had an outside request for 40 pizza patties in the near future. Forty! I can't do it. Can barely make 4 at a time with the equipment and space I have now. Forty. My god, I don't know what to do. I can't just walk into Dana's and borrow his industrial mixer anymore, those years are long passed. William says I need to open a bakery. I've no funding, no business plan, no marketing, and no real interest in business. I just like playing with yeast. How can I open a bakery with nothing but a bowl and a spoon? Besides, I have a job and those drum tracks and my Local book still hanging over my head, not to mention the Optician Certificate.
Plus I like writing and gardening and the rescue dog thing. There is no more time for me to do that crap.
