Joanne Burritt died. Recognized the last name, so clicked on the link. Not Jimmy's bio-mom, but was married to his bio-father at one point. Was also married to Richard Rucynski according to the obit. Rucynski is an odd enough name, and also Winky's last name. Hmm... I read further along. Survived by sons David, Scott, and Jimmy, and daughters Suzanne, Kim, Michelle, and Wink.

Uhhh...

Jimmy and Wink are living together in Moon Beach and I got an earful of what type of relationship they have. It's not brother-sister. At least for anyplace but Alabama. Half brother/sister and also step brother/sister and in a relationship. Uhhh... I mean they're cool enough people. Winky is awesome and sweet and Burritt is... Burritt. I didn't know they were kinda/sorta related. Oz is a small place, but that's getting on a bit too small ifyouknowwhatImean. And it's not like kids are an issue in your late 50's, but... Yikes. Bad enough Kathy's family was related to Russ' and they still got married. Guess that just happens in the country.

In other news. did not find the Brussels '72 tape I have been looking for, but found a new digital copy to download. Another one of those 'filling in lost memories' tapes. J made me a copy of his back in the day, we listened to it together across the internet the old fashioned way, each queuing up the tapes and talking on chat as they played 400 miles apart. Should have been easy tapes to find, he printed the Jcards on orange paper, but it's lost. Had to send him a show and a blank to make it even. Can't for the life of me remember what show I sent him. He did like the D&C on this night. All 28 minutes of it. Good show, bad audience.

Phil Taylor

So in my spare - right, what's that - time, I watch a bit of PDC on the 'net. Mostly just old championship matches. And of course I love Phil Taylor, going back to 2006 or so. So I've been watching Phil play, and I ran into the 2010 London Finals. Darters know what that was, but Phil got two legs where he was out in 9 throws - a perfect set. Unheard of. Hard enough to go out in nine, but to do it twice in a match...

Fun to watch even if you don't know a thing about darts.

And this is where I got my first look at Phil Taylor:

And since it's a cover, here's the original Sparks version (not dart related):

I do have to say that James Wade looks nice as well. But vanGerwen makes me want to punch him in the face. Barney's got something going on that I really like. I think its his eyes. Familiar and attractive and not quite sure why. Not like the Darts Tour is a place to find pin-up models.
