Rachel's last day
Sep. 12th, 2021 05:28 amSaid goodbye to a good coworker today. Job had forced her to go full time, which she didn't want as a housewife and mother. So she ended up quitting. Damn shame. Good person, hard worker, lots of fun to be around. She's going back to Lehigh Valley. Best of luck to her. Last days at shift change are always kinda weird, and she had to go they're literally moving on Wednesday and packing everything up so it was short. No one else did anything, so I ended up splurging a bit and getting her a Grand Cru Champaign. At least I know she will appreciate it.
So now out of 15 employees we have six openings, with at least one more to go when they fire her for refusing the vaccine. This new manager is really making me worry. There's only so many shifts you can beg people to cover.
