Bad bad day today. Only slept 3-4 hours on Friday and maybe got 20-30 minutes Saturday. Just couldn't sleep. Was already cranky getting out of work Saturday morning so took some time to myself and had a snack. Apparently William was not capable of either setting his alarm or actually getting out of bed when it went off and he was unhappy I did not wake him immediately upon getting home. Then found out he shit the bed in his sleep and left it for me to clean up. Had to strip off the blanket and sheets and get the stain out of the new mattress. Vinegar, baking soda, stain stick, wet vacc, all the fun stuff you don't want to do after a twelve hour shift. At least the hospital beds are vinyl coated and easily wipeable. An at home mattress? Not so much. So I let the chemicals sit and work on the stain and started the laundry and curled up on the loveseat to sleep. Or try to. He kept asking me stupid questions as soon as I'd almost fallen asleep, eventually he left around 08:30. And from then on I was up. Tried alcohol, melatonin, eating, showering, put on an episode of Clarkson's Farm and paid some bills, nothing happening. Ended up just laying down. Resting is better than nothing sometimes. Got up and went to work. At least it's Dr Malya today. I really like him as a person and the day's been not bad for what it is. Plan on essentially overdosing myself when I get home. If I mix a muscle relaxant with a pain pill, with alcohol and some melatonin I should sleep. Theoretically. Assuming they don't mix poorly and I stop breathing. Shouldn't be that bad, they're all fairly innocuous and I know how to play with the muscle relaxants.
