Have done my good civic deeds for the day.

1) Helped out a guy who was having a freak out about his doctor's appointment. Took him aside and got him talking about fishing for small mouth bass. He calmed right down, turned out to be a great guy, just very backwoods and scared.

2) Took mum out for ice cream. She is so lonely and housebound and there's no reason for it. She might be 65, but she's all energy and plans. The old man is just slowing her down and keeping her sedentary.

3) Sent a video to a friend who really will appreciate it. I don't know if it's widespread or not, but it's not one of the things I was told specifically not to circulate.

That's my stories for today. Tomorrow will be hell, 12 hour shift with the asshole doc fresh back from cocaine land Florida. Wonder if he brought me an 8-ball. Would be the nice thing for him to do.
