Doomstar Requium

Finally watched the new Metalocaylpse Opera. First I have to state that I never really cared for the music part of the show. I watched mostly for the humor and characters. It was spotty. Some bits were great, others not so much. Will I watch it again? Probably, with the closed captioning on. Damn growly cookie monster vocals, so 2005. There was no funny stuff which was a major disappointment. The show is usually hilarious, albeit unintentional. Very heavy on the plotty/conspiracy stuff which is fine but it could have been presented better.

I still like the characters (can't wait to see what happens to Offdensen) and the universe, but that was a long hour.

Did some research on food grade diatomaceous earth and it's effect on chitenous critters. Proud owner of 4 pounds of the stuff. Applied thin coating to the bedroom where most of the problem seems to be. Got it all rubbed into the carpet, it's supposed to take three days to kill the first generation of buggos. Gonna try it out, can't get any worse, eh? Supposed to get rid of all the ticks, roaches, spiders, ants... anything with a hard shell.

Was supposed to go to Nasa, didn't happen. William had a hissy fit and we stayed home. Getting caught up on laundry and floor care. Not exactly the birthday i'd hoped for.
